    Description

    i am offering on Buy It Now a vintage wine bottle stopper in silver and cork. This stopper is 2 1/2" long and 1" across. The silver top is not stamped, but it looks and feels like sterling or a high grade of silver plate. The top has a rope design around the rim  and built up silver layers. There is a dent on the very top of the dome, which leads me to believe that it is made of sterling silver. the cork is genuine and tapered. It also looks old and has some light staining. This was from a family of wine lovers and probably dates back to the 1980's or even earlier. It is in excellent, vintage condition and will be carefully packed for safe shipping.
